Course Description:
  • Are you tired of following a scripted curriculum that assumes that your students are all the same?
  • Do you want to increase engagement in your learning environment so students are excited to learn what you’re teaching?
  • Are you concerned that some of your students will not be prepared for success in the future?
  • Are you frustrated by how long it takes to plan lessons to meet the needs of all your students?
If these questions keep you up at night, then you need to learn more about Universal Design for Learning (UDL): what it is, how it’s different from differentiated instruction (DI), and most importantly, how to implement it in your practice to meet the needs of all students.

You’ll have the opportunity to choose resources that are accessible, engaging, and connected to your practice. Some of you may love to curl up with a good book. If you’d benefit from additional reading and like the feel of a book in your hands, choose one or more of the texts to the right as they align beautifully with our course.
